Reception Admissions
We have 60 places for admission into Reception each year and have one point of intake each September.
Our Reception places are for children who will become five years of age within the academic year in which they are in Reception.
Applying for a Reception place for September 2021
If your child will turn 5 years of age between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022, then you will need to apply for a Reception place for your child between Monday 2nd November 2020 and Friday 15th January 2021.

Due to Covid-safe considerations, please observe the following when bringing admissions documents to school:
- Parents of children already at Holy Rood, should drop application documents in to the school office at either drop off or pick up time
- Parents who do not yet have a child at Holy Rood should drop off application documents between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm Monday – Friday
- When entering the entrance foyer to speak to a member of office staff, all visitors must wear a mask.
- Only one person at a time is allowed into the entrance foyer. Please wait outside of the school until invited in if another parent is already speaking to a member of the admin team.
