Fundraising Event Sunday 15th February 2015 at the Sun Postal sports & social club

I along with my family are arranging a football fun day to raise money for Great Ormond Street hospital.

My nephew James, who is 3 years old was treated for Wilms tumor, which is a children's cancer of the kidney, last summer at great ormond street hospital. James received chemo treatment along with surgery to remove one of his kidneys and we are delighted that he has now been given the all clear.

We have experienced the amazing work and facilities at Great Ormond Street hospital first hand and feel very privileged to have such a fantastic children's hospital in our country but the hospital relies heavily on donations and fundraising which is why we are arranging this fun day.

In recognition of the work the hospital do we have arranged for a team of Arsenal Ex-pro and celebrity XI to play a match against a select James Kelly XI team. This will be the main event of a family fun day which is taking place on Sunday 15th February 2015 at the Sun Postal sports & social club, Bellmount Wood Avenue, Watford, Hertfordshire WD17 3BN. From 11.30 am (kick off 1pm). Entry £5 adults, kids go free. Tickets available from Bernie Wrenn on 07985417174 or after school outside the nursery. You can also pay on arrival on the day.

We will also be holding a raffle and auction on the day and have received some fantastic prizes from local businesses and football clubs. Raffle tickets will be available shortly.
